Los Angeles, CA — DeskPop Entertainment proudly announces the premiere of their latest supernatural thriller, “Insane Like Me?”, set to release across North America on June 4, 2024. This gripping mystery, where reality is constantly in question, will be available on Cable and Digital VOD platforms, including Apple TV, Amazon, Google Play, Fandango At Home, Comcast, Dish, and DirecTV.
“Insane Like Me?” is a production of Bankhead Productions, featuring a script by Britt Bankhead. Bankhead not only stars in the film but also produces it alongside Grace Patterson (known for “Slotherhouse”). The two play former lovers whose tumultuous past pales in comparison to the sinister events that unfold upon their reunion. The ensemble cast includes Golden Globe winner and Academy Award nominee Eric Roberts, Samantha Reddy, Jack Maxwell, Paul Kolker, and Meg Hobgood.
Plot: “Insane Like Me?” follows the story of a combat veteran who, upon returning home from his tour of duty, becomes entangled in the mysterious disappearance of his girlfriend. Wrongly convicted and imprisoned in a mental asylum for nine years, he emerges determined to uncover the truth and seek justice.
