First, allow myself to introduce…..myself…..My name is THE Travis Reed(Host of The Everyday Joe Show Radio show/podcast). I love candle light dinners and long walks on the beach….wait…wrong site. TN Horror News has given me the honor of being their sports writer.  I would like to thank them for giving me this opportunity and platform to share my thoughts on the sporting world.

Sports have been a huge part of my life since I was a youngling. I am very passionate about them and have a great understanding of all major sports. Not claiming to be an expert, but I know my way around. Football is my favorite of the Big 4 (Football, Baseball, Basketball, Hockey).

                                                                                                      Football

The Super Bowl is being played this Sunday and my favorite season is coming to an end. My favorite team, The Arizona Cardinals, did not make the playoffs but I’m extremely excited to watch The Kansas City Chiefs vs The Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This should be a great game! I look for it to be a close one. Had a hard time who to put my money on. Ultimately, I put my money on Tom Brady and the Buccaneers. I have learned this year that you just don’t bet against Tom Brady. He is the GOAT when it comes to QB’s in the NFL. I’m not a fan, however, I do respect him tremendously.

                                                                                                      Wrestling

I am also a HUGE wrestling fan. Fell in love with it at a very young age. Have also wrestled and am the current 6 man Tag Team Champion in Tennessee All Pro Wrestling. I have a great respect for what those guys and gals do each time they step into the ring. It’s definitely not easy! The pageantry and over the top characters drew me in as a young child. To me, the performers were always larger than life. Even going to the Indy shows as a kid was a treat for me. With all that being said, there will be many posts on Professional Wrestling.

                                                                                                     Baseball

The Atlanta Braves have been my favorite team since I was about 5 or 6. The Braves were basement dwellers most of my life. They had a great run in the 90’s but only have one World Series to show for it. If it wasn’t for those damn New York Yankees they would have had a few more.  Atlanta has had some really good years as of late, and hopefully they can keep it going. My two favorite Braves of all time are Dale Murphy and Chipper Jones. Both were pretty quiet and swung big sticks.

                                                                                                    Basketball

Have lost the passion to watch much NBA or College basketball in recent years. Neither, in my opinion, are what they used to be back in the days of Jordan and Dominique Wilkins(my favorite NBA players of all time). Lebron has definitely been a staple for many years now and the competition has gotten better. Maybe I should give basketball a better look.

                                                                                                    Hockey

If you have never been to a LIVE hockey game, I implore you to do so! Non stop action, fights and Oh yeah they serve BEER! By far the most exciting sport to watch in person. Playoff hockey is absolutely the best playoff sport in the world. Unless you’re a Preds fan like myself. We get our heart broke every year.

                                                                                                   NASCAR

NASCAR has made a comeback with me this past year. I started doing some SIM racing over the summer and fell back in love with the sport. This upcoming season, the best basketball player to ever live now owns a NASCAR team. This alone has made me pay more attention to this sport. “Raise Hell and Praise Dale”

Let’s all enjoy the Super Bowl on Sunday and count down the days to next season. The next season we have to look forward to is WRESTLEMANIA season! Hope you guys will enjoy this and I look forward to hearing from you.

Appreciate it guys!
