It’s hotter than Satan’s taint outside and the world is falling apart. The future is more uncertain now than ever. Luckily, there are some things to look forward to in the coming months. That’s right folks, I’m finally getting off my ass to do another indie horror round up. Today I’ve got a couple really cool projects that I want to tell you about. One of the projects is finished and will be coming to DVD just in time for Halloween.

Ouija Mummy

If you can, take a minute and watch the trailer for this flick. I like all kinds of indie horror flicks but gritty stuff like this really tickles my pickle. Just in the trailer we get good looking women, Ouija boards, mummies, ancient curses, practical effects, and violence. I don’t know what else I could as for from a flick like this. Not only that, this flick is coming from the minds of a couple of dudes who are absolute work horses. Sebastian Godin and Dustin Hubbard share writing duties and Godin is directing. These guys have a ton of writing and directing credits between them and Hubbard is an incredibly prolific producer to boot. This  flick is indie from the ground up and looks like it will be a hell of a time!

Ouija Mummy will be out on DVD October 27 through Wild Eye Releasing.  If you don’t want to wait, you’ll be able to check it out on VOD in September.

Giggles

I am really stoked on this project and really hope that it comes to fruition. Not only does the story sound like a good one but it’s also got some great talent from the world of internet horror. One of the greatest scary story narrators in the game, MrCreepypasta, will be playing one of the leads. There is a metric shit ton of talent behind this movie but MCP’s involvement has me pretty excited. I’ve spent countless hours listening to his story narrations and his voice work is phenomenal. I am curious to see what he does in front of a camera.

Dead Klown Productions is currently trying to raise the dough for this film through IndieGogo. You can head over there, get more information on the team, the film, and see all the great perks that you can get in on. Go check it out and share it with your indie horror loving friends.

Until Next Time

Well folks, that’s all I’ve got for today. I’m going to try to pop in about once a week and highlight some cool indie horror projects that get me excited. So, keep an eye out for that.
