I get more and more excited for the upcoming Halloween movie every time more updates are released. To recap, it will be written by David Gordon Green and Danny McBride; John Carpenter will do the score and serve as a consultant on the film which will ignore all of the sequels and take place 40 years after the events of the original movie. A few months ago we found out that Jamie Lee Curtis will be returning ar Laurie and yesterday Bloody Disgusting reported that the original Shape, Nick Castle, will be donning the mask once again. Something else I am excited about is the addition of Judy Greer as Laurie’s daughter Karen. Judy Greer voices Cheryl Tunt in Archer of which I am a huge fan.
I don’t know what’s not to be excited about with this project. You’ve got a talented writing team, some prominent original cast members, and Cheryl Tunt I don’t see what could go wrong here. As always, keep your eyes peeled for future updates.
